Day by day

Day 1-2: In Delhi: The Capital city and your arrival point in India. Assistance upon arrival at Delhi airport then transfer to the hotel (Assuming that you will be arriving at midnight). Sightseeing & two nights stay in Delhi.

Delhi is culturally vibrant and offers historical panorama starting from Mughal era to colonial British Raj in India. Its bazaars are well stocked and exclusive.

Day 3: In Agra: TRAIN: Board morning superfast AC train in the morning at 7 A.M from Delhi to reach Agra by 10 A.M. We receive you on arrival at Agra train station then transfer you to the hotel. Having checked in at hotel, relaxation then enjoy our guided full day tour of Agra. This city is famous for its iconic The Taj Mahal, known for its beauty and as a symbol of eternal love of a king for his beloved queen. You will hear the tales of Taj narrated by our well trained local guides that you might not find mentioned anywhere else.

Day 4-6: In Varanasi: OVERNIGHT TRAIN: On 4th day after leisurely breakfast, check out from the hotel and keep your luggage in the cloak room then proceed to visit Fatehpur Sikri, located 40 kms from Agra and return to the hotel by the evening to collect your luggage to board late evening overnight train to reach Varanasi at 12 noon next day. We assist you at Varanasi train station and transfer to the hotel. Relaxation for few hours, evening visit to the ghats.

Varanasi is the oldest living city on earth. This 5000 years old city is closely associated with holy Ganges and finds mention in Hindu Mythology as Kashi. It has been the culture center of India since time immemorial. It is known for temples, culture, narrow streets and Ghats (stone slab steps long the bank of river used for perform ritual ablutions). You may experience your days shopping from narrow lanes, boat rides in the morning and evening, walking along the ghats and Ganga Aarti in the evening. If explored nicely, this can be your favorite spots of all.

Day 7: In Khajuraho: OVERNIGHT TRAIN/FLIGHT: On 6th day, enjoy your morning at the ghats and few hours in the narrow lanes or relax as per your wish. Check out from the hotel at noon, reach Varanasi Junction train station in the evening to board overnight train and reach Khajuraho next day morning. We assist and transfer you to the hotel. Having freshened up, visit world famous temples for the day. Overnight train from Varanasi to Khajuraho runs only thrice in a week. If no train available on your scheduled day, you will be booked in flight.

Khajuraho is named among the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in India. The temples here are famous for its ancient erotic sculptures constructed between 950 to 1050 CE. There were 85 temples by 12th century of which only 20 temples remain till date. The sculptures in these temples are sensual and sexually explicit.

Day 8-10: In Jaipur: OVERNIGHT TRAIN: Today morning transfer to the Khajuraho train station to board train to Jaipur. This morning train takes around 14 hrs to reach Jaipur. Assistance upon arrival at train station then transfer to the hotel for overnight stay. From next morning enjoy our guided trip to the city.

Jaipur, the pink city, popular tourists spot is known for its colors and sights. You may enjoy elephant ride at Amer Fort. The structures here are known for its Rajputana style of architecture. Shopping here is another attraction where you can purchase souvenirs as well as beautiful clothes, gems and jewelry.

Day 11-12: Jaipur – Pushkar: CAR: Today morning transfer to Pushkar to enjoy the famous cattle fair and spend two nights in camp.

Day 13-15: Pushkar – Jaisalmer via JaipurCAR/OVERNIGHT TRAIN: This day transfer to Jaipur to board overnight train to Jaisalmer. Having slept in the overnight train from Jaipur in the late evening, reach Jaisalmer in the morning next day. Assistance upon arrival then transfer to the hotel, relaxation for few hours. You may spend evening at leisure or visit to see the sights in the surroundings on the day of arrival. Next day visit Jaisalmer Fort, Havelis and Jain Temples. On your last day, morning at leisure or exploring few more sights. In the evening drive to Sam Sand dunes. You have choice here to stay overnight in a tent or drive back to hotel for night stay. It is recommended to stay one night in tent and enjoy folk dances, food and surroundings.

Jaisalmer is the part of famous Thar Desert that is also known as “The Golden city”, noted among the world heritage sites. This 12th century Jaisalmer fort is the main attraction here along with decorated havelis and Jain temples.

Day 16-17: In Jodhpur: Road: 300 kms: CAR: In the morning start from Jaisalmer Camp and transfer to Jodhpur. It is a long journey, so you should start in the morning as early as possible. Having arrived check in at the hotel and relaxation for the day. Next day morning after breakfast full day sightseeing of the city visiting important attractions.

Jodhpur is the second largest city of Rajasthan. It is a popular tourist city where you can see forts, palaces and temples. Sightseeing places include Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada, Umaid Bhavan Palace and Rai ka Bag Palace etc. For shopping freaks, the markets offer a range of beautiful textiles, embroidered leather goods, antiques, carpets and puppets. It is also called blue city since most of the buildings surrounding Mehrangarh Fort are painted blue. There are enough to see here that ideally requires two days.

Day 18-20: In Udaipur: 315 kms: CAR: Today morning start from Jodhpur to reach Udaipur in 10 hrs. Having arrived check in at the hotel and relaxation for few hours. Evening at leisure. Enjoy next two days visiting this romantic city.

Udaipur is a popular tourist city known as Lake City also. This Venice of East is well known for its historical background, palaces, forts, lakes and scenic locations. It is an ideal romantic location suits best for honeymooners. Minimum three nights of stay is recommended here.

Day 21-23: Udaipur – Mumbai: OVERNIGHT TRAIN: Start from Udaipur by evening train that reaches Mumbai in 16 Hrs (flight option can be availed if required). Assistance at the train station then transfer to the hotel. Evening at leisure or shopping in Delhi as you desire. Two nights stay in Mumbai.

Day 24: Depart MumbaiTravinfoindia thank you for your patronage and ensure a punctual transfer to the international airport to board flight back home. The trip ends.
