Day by Day Itinerary

Day 01: NJP Rly Stn / IXB Airport – Gangtok (About 130 km / 4 hrs): Assistance upon arrival at railway station / airport then transfer to Gangtok. Having arrived check-in at and relaxation for the day. Evening at leisure. There is overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 02: In Gangtok : Tsomgo Lake Excursion : ( 52 Km) : Today after breakfast start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) & Baba Mandir (13200 ft) which is 52 km from Gangtok city. There is overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 03: Gangtok / Pelling (About 132 Km / 5 hrs): Today morning after breakfast, half day sightseeing trip of Gangtok city covering 7 points that include Rumtek Monastery, Shanti View Point, Botanical garden, Dro-dul Chorten, Institute of Tibetology, Flower show and Handicraft Centre. After lunch transfer to Pelling (6800 ft.). Having arrived check-in to your hotel and overnight stay at Pelling.

Day 04: In Pelling: This day after breakfast proceed for full day sightseeing tour of the city visiting Darap village, Khangchendzongha waterfalls, Sewaro Rock Garden, Rimbi water Falls and Khecheopalri Lake. After lunch visit other important sightseeing places that include Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdantse Ruins and New Halipad Ground. There is overnight stay at Pelling.

Day 05: Pelling / Darjeeling (About 118 km /4 hrs): Today morning transfer to Darjeeling (7,100 ft.). Having arrived check-in to your hotel and relaxation for the day. Evening at leisure. There is overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Day 06: In Darjeeling: This morning early in the morning (4.00 am) drive to Tiger Hill to watch the spectacular Sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzongha (28,208 ft. Worlds 3rd highest peak), on your way back visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view), Ava Art Gallery and Japanese Temple. Evening free for shopping & leisure. There is overnight stay at Darjeeling.

ay 07: Darjeeling / Kalimpong: Today after breakfast transfer to Kalimpong. Having arrived check in to your hotel and relaxation for sometime visit Mangal Dham, Deolo Hills, Dr. Graham’s Home, Durpin Dara Hill and Flower Nurseries etc then back to hotel. There is overnight stay at Kalimpong.
