Overview: Travel to Delhi is a Delhi sight seeing trip consists of historical monuments of Delhi with old Delhi’s spice market and Chandni Chowk. The Capital city of India, Delhi city has been ruled by different rulers starting from the Hindu mythological, medieval to the Mughal and British Raj era. This city is older than history and still has strong imprints consist in the monuments difficult to explain in words. Present day New Delhi is a spacious, open city that houses many government buildings and embassies, apart from places of historical interest. The sight seeing places in Delhi include the Rashtrapati Bhawan, the India Gate, the Birla Temple, the Akshardham temple, the Humayun’s Tomb, the Purana Quila, the Qutab Minar, The Red Fort, Jama Masjid and Lotus Temple etc.
THE ITINERARY: In the morning you will be picked up at 8A.M from the suggested point on a full day escorted tour of Delhi. Your day starts from a walking tour of old Delhi’s narrow crowded streets through spice market and Chandni Chowk busy with their day-to-day business apart from grand Jama Masjid and magnificent Red Fort. You will then have a delicious lunch break at renowned Karim’s restaurant before driving to see some of the New Delhi sights such as Lotus Temple, India Gate, Humayun’s tomb and the old Fort by the evening. You will be dropped at suggested point in Delhi till 8 P.M. That is the end of your 12 long hour trip.
