Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival Delhi: Assistance on arrival in Delhi at international airport by Travinfoindia representative. Transfer to the hotel and overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 2. In Delhi:In the morning after breakfast you will be taken on a full day sightseeing of Delhi starting from a walking tour of old Delhi’s narrow crowded streets through spice market and Chandni Chowk busy with their day to day business apart form grand Jama Masjid and magnificent Red Fort. You will then have a delicious lunch break at renowned Karim’s restaurant before driving to see some of the New Delhi sights such as Qutab Minar, India Gate, Humayun’s tomb and the old Fort by the evening. You are recommended to have an excellent dinner with great food options at Panadara Road very close to India Gate. There is overnight stay at hotel.

Day 3. Delhi/Agra: Today morning you will be transferred to the railway station to board train to Agra. Assistance upon arrival at Agra Railway station then transferred to the hotel. Having checked in and freshen up at hotel, your guided Agra trip starts visiting the matchless symbol of love The Taj Mahal that was built by the mughal emperor Shahjahan for his beloved wife Mumtaj Mahal. After that you will see the grand Agra Fort, Itmad-Ul-Daula Etc.In the evening visit the market and have dinner before spending your night at Agra hotel.

Train departs New Delhi daily at 06:00 and gets to Agra Cant at 08:10

Day 4: Agra/ Udaipur:Today morning after breakfast you will be visiting Fatehpur Sikri on your way to Bharatpur Railway station to board overnight train to Udaipur.

Train departs Bharatpur daily at 23:08 and gets to Udaipur at 08:30. Overnight in the train to Udaipur.

Day 5:Arrival Udaipur: Assistance upon arrival at Udaipur Railway Station then transfer to the hotel. Having checked in and freshen up at hotel, you will be taken on a full day sight seeing for the day. Udaipur the capital of the former princely state of Mewar is a beautiful tourist city. It is a fascinating blend of sights, sounds and experiences. Udaipur is a kaleidoscope of fairy-tale palaces, lakes, temples, gardens and narrow lanes and carry the flavor of heroic past, epitomizing valor and chivalry. There is overnight stay in hotel.

Day 6. In Udaipur:
This morning after breakfast you will enjoy full day guided tour of the city visiting City Palace, Jag Mandir Palace, Lake Palace, Fateh Sagar Lake, Saheliyon-Ki-Bari, Shilpgram is an enticing crafts village, Lake Pichola, located on the banks of the famed, the Gulab Bagh and Udaipur Solar Observatory etc. Having visited the tourist attractions you will be back at hotel to spend overnight.

Day 7: Udaipur
/ Kumbhalgarh:Today morning you will be driven to Kumbhalgarh. Having arrived check in at Aodhi hotel freshen up then sight seeing for the rest of the day visiting the Kumbhalgarh Fort, the main tourist attraction in Kumbhalgarh. The fort was built in 15th century AD by Rana Kumbha. This fort stands on a rocky hill with excellent view of the wild and rugged scenery of the Aravalis and desert of Marwar. It is protected by a series of walls with bastions. The other attraction is the “Badal Mahal” or the Cloud Palace. This palace is situated at the top of the hill offers a scenic view of the surrounding countryside. It was renovated in the late 19th century. There is overnight stay at Aodhi.

Day 8: Kumbhalgarh / Jodhpur
Via Ranakpur: Today morning you will be driven to Ranakpur. It is surrounded by the Aravali hills and located on the banks of ‘Magai’ river, this grand four facet structures were built in 14th Century. Ranakpur has Jain Temples, known for its excellent sculptures and architecture. Having visited this you will be transferred to Falna Railway station (40 Kms from Ranakpur) to board train to Jodhpur.

Train departs Falna daily at 16:58 and gets to Jodhpur at 20:05

In Jodhpur: Assistance on arrival at railway station in the morning then transfer to the hotel. Having reached Jodhpur, check in at hotel and relaxation for the day. There is overnight stay at hotel.

Day 9.
In Jodhpur: Today morning you will enjoy the guided tour of Jodhpur city visiting Mehrangarh Fort founded in 15th century by the Rathore Rajputs. At present managed as a museum. There are only some of the spectacular palaces of Mehrangarh open to the visitors. Jaswant Thada, is the traditional cremation ground of the rulers of Jodhpur. Umaid Bhawan Palace, constructed of marble and pink sandstone. In the evening you will be visiting the Girdikot and Sardar Market where small shops line either sides of the narrow lanes famous for textiles, silver, handicrafts, aromatic spices, vegetables and colorful Indian sweets. There is overnight stay in hotel.

Day 10: Jodhpur
/ Jaisalmer: Today you will have a leisurely morning. Having checked out from the hotel, spend the day in the city. After that you will be transferred to the railway station to board overnight train to Jaisalmer. Overnight in the train to Jaisalmer.

Train departs Jodhpur daily at 23:15 and gets to Jaisalmer at 05:15.

Day 11:
Arrival Jaisalmer: Assistance on arrival at railway station then transfer to the hotel. Relaxation for some time then sight seeing for the rest of the day. You will see the Golden City, named so because of its magnificent yellow sandstone structures, is an artistic marvel in the midst of the arid desert. Jaisalmer, once an important trade center, located on the caravan trade route to Afghanistan and Central Asia, the golden era of Jaisalmer started from 12th century onwards. There is overnight stay at hotel.

Day 12:
In Jaisalmer: Today morning after breakfast visit Sand Dunes; the most picturesque dunes are located some 40 km from Jaisalmer. You can see the dunes shifting with the strong desert winds, sunrise and sunset. Having seen these, you will back to the hotel to spend overnight at hotel.

Day 13: Jaisalmer
/ Jaipur: This morning you will spend few more hours in the desert city then transfer to the railway station to board overnight train to Jaipur.  Overnight in the train to Jaipur.

Train
departs Jaisalmer daily at 15:30 and gets to Jaipur at 05:00 the next day.

Day 14. Arrival Jaipur:
Assistance upon arrival at Jaipur Railway Station then transfer to the hotel. Having checked in and freshen up at hotel, there is relaxation. Evening at leisure. There is overnight stay at hotel.

Day 15. In Jaipur:
Today morning after breakfast you will be enjoying the guided trip to the city visiting Amer Fort (Amber Fort) The fort is remarkable blend of Hindu and Muslim architecture a fine piece of Rajput architecture, built in the seventeen centuary is famous for great views from the top. Later in the day visit Hawa Mahal; built in 1799 is one of the most recognizable monuments of Jaipur. It was build for the royal ladies to watch and enjoy the processions and other activities through five-storied semi-octagonal monument with 152 windows. At present it is a museum. City Palace situated in the heart of the old City houses important museum and allows a fine view of the gardens and the city. In the evening visit a magnificent observatory built in 18th century. Having seen all these you will be back to the hotel by the evening to spend overnight at hotel.

Day 16: Jaipur / 
Athirapally (Via Kochi): This morning you will be transferred to the airport to board flight to Kochi via Mumbai. Assistance upon arrival at Kochi airport then transfer to the hotel in Athirapally. Having checked in at hotel, relaxation for the day.  There is overnight stay at hotel.

Day 17: In Athirapally : 
This morning after breakfast full day sight seeing visiting Athirappilly and Vazhachal Waterfalls etc. Enjoy the beautiful sunset and get back to the hotel by the evening. There is overnight stay at hotel.

Athirapally is the land of rivers, forests and amazing waterfalls. The Athirapally waterfall is a major tourist attraction. This patch in Sholayar ranges is beautifully intertwined with lush green forest cover and sizzling cascades.

Day 18: Athirapally /
AllappuzhaToday morning after breakfast check out from the hotel you will be transferred to Allappuzha. You will board the Houseboat. Rest of the day is at leisure on the House Boat. Enjoy the enchanting boat cruise. There is overnight stay on the House Boat.

Day 19: Allappuzha
/ Kovalam (180 km-5hrs): Today having checkout from the houseboat you will be transferred to Kovalam. Having checked in hotel at Kovalam, relaxation for some time then enjoy at the world famous beach of India. There is overnight stay at hotel.

Day 20: Kovalam / Trivendrum :
This morning you will be transferred to Thiruvanthapuram. Having checked in at hotel, you will be driven for a sight seeing trip visiting Museum Complex, Science and Technology Museum, Veli Tourist village, Aakulam boat club and Shangmugham Beach etc. There is overnight stay at Thiruvananthapuram.

Day 21: Kovalam
  / Mumbai (Via Thiruvananthapuram): Today morning having checked out from the hotel you will be transferred to the Thiruvananthapuram airport (30 km-1 hr) to board flight to Mumbai. Assistance upon arrival at Mumbai airport and transfer to the hotel. Having checked in at hotel, relaxation for the day. There is overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 22:
In Mumbai: In the morning after breakfast you will be seeing Mumbai sights for the entire day visiting Pherozsha Mehta Gardens, Popularly known as hanging gardens. The garden was laid out in 1881 on top of the reservoir, which supplies water in Mumbai. A special feature is the hedges, which are cut into animal shapes. Then you will visit Chowpatty Beach, generally crowded with extra ordinary hustle bustle. Chowpatty occupies a special place in the life of Bombay, having been the venue of mass political meetings in the pre-independence era. After that you will be taken to Rajbai Tower, built in the19th century in Gothic style on the university campus, the 79 meters high clock tower commands a fine view of the city before departing to the international airport to board flight back home.

Day 23:
In Mumbai Today morning after breakfast enjoys full day sight seeing of the city visiting the gateway of India, a sixteenth centuary 26-meter high stone archway is the first landmark of Mumbai. It was built to honor the visit of King George V and Queen Mary to India in 1911. Having seen this visit Elephanta Caves. The Elephanta Caves are located on an island about 10 Kms. away from the Gateway of India. These caves consist of temples carved from rock, which date back to the 7th century. The chief attraction is the three-headed bust of Lord Shiva, popularly known as “Trimurti”. You may reach there by taking a ferry from Gateway of India.

Important:
Elephant caves are closed on Mondays.

Day 24: Mumbai / Back home: Today you will have a leisurely morning. Having checked out from the hotel in the afternoon visit markets or any other destination if time permits then transfer to the Mumbai international airport to board flight back home. The trip ends.
