Having checked in at hotel relaxation for some time then proceed for <strong>guided tour of Jaipur</strong> visiting <strong>Gaitor;</strong> memorials to the former rulers of Jaipur the place has some gracefully carved cenotaphs in white marble, <strong>Jaigarh Fort;</strong> standing on a hilltop, world’s biggest cannon on wheels is positioned here and <strong>Nahargarh Fort;</strong> built in 1734. The walls of the fort run along the ridge with architectural beauties. In the evening visit the Jaipur bazaar then back to the hotel to spend overnight at hotel.</p>
<p><strong>Day 4.  In <a href="../tourist-cities/jaipur-the-pink-city-2.html">Jaipur</a>: </strong>Today morning after breakfast you will be enjoying the <strong>guided trip of Jaipur city</strong> visiting <strong>Amer Fort (Amber Fort)</strong> The fort is remarkable blend of Hindu and Muslim architecture a fine piece of Rajput architecture, built in the seventeen centuary is famous for great views from the top. Later in the day visit <strong>Hawa Mahal;</strong> built in 1799 is one of the most recognizable monuments of Jaipur. It was build for the royal ladies to watch and enjoy the processions and other activities through five-storied semi-octagonal monument with 152 windows. At present it is a museum. City Palace situated in the heart of the old City houses important museum and allows a fine view of the gardens and the city. In the evening visit a magnificent observatory built in 18th century. Having seen all these you will be back to the hotel by the evening to spend overnight at hotel.</p>
<p><strong>Day 5.  <a href="../tourist-cities/jaipur-the-pink-city-2.html">Jaipur</a>/ </strong><strong>Bharatpur: </strong>Today you will have leisurely morning, having checked out from the hotel sight seeing of Jaipur city enjoying the hustle bustle of local market then drive to Bharatpur in the evening. Having reached check in at hotel to have relaxing sound sleep at beautiful Laxmi Vilas Palace. There is overnight stay in Bharatpur.</p>
<p><strong>Day 6.  Bharatpur / <strong><a href="../tourist-cities/agra.html">Agra</a></strong>: </strong>In the morning departure transfer to <strong>Agra by car</strong> visiting <strong>Fatehpur Sikri</strong> on the way that is a deserted, phantom city at present but it was the capital of great Mughal king Akbar for approximately 12 years. Having reached Agra check at hotel then proceed for a <strong>guided tour of Agra</strong> visiting <strong>The Taj Mahal,</strong> a love memorial built by Mughal king Shah Jehan in the loving memory of his beloved wife Mumtaj Mahal, <strong>Agra Fort </strong>where Shah Jehan spent the last few years of his life imprisoned here by his son and <strong>I’timad-Ud-Daulah, </strong>the Empress Nur Jahan built this tomb for her father, it is also called the <strong>Baby Taj</strong>. <p><strong>Day 7.</strong> <strong><a href="../tourist-cities/agra.html">Agra</a></strong><strong> / Lucknow:</strong> Today early morning you will be transferred to the railway station to board train to Lucknow. Having reached Lucknow in the afternoon, check in at the hotel and relaxation for some time then sight seeing of the city visiting <strong>old Lucknow sights</strong> as <strong>Bada Imambara</strong>, <strong>Hussainabad Imambara,</strong> <strong>Rumi Darwaza</strong> and <strong>Aminabad market</strong>. Having seen these you will be back at hotel to spend overnight there.</p>
<p><strong>Lucknow Sight Seeing Places<br />
</strong></p>
<p><strong>Bada Imambara:</strong> <strong>The Bada Imambada</strong> or <strong>Asafi Imambada</strong> was built in 1784 by Nawab Asaf-ul-Daula as welfare project during severe famine. It has historical, cultural and heritage importance. The complex also includes the large <strong>Asfi mosque</strong>, the <strong>Bhul-Bhulaiyah (the labyrinth);</strong> a staircase leads to a series of artfully designed labyrinths where it is easy to get lost. Therefore visitors are only allowed inside with guide who is familiar with the maze.</p>
<p><strong>Hussainabad Imambara:</strong> Also known as Chhota Imambada, was built in eighteen centuary by Mohammed Ali Shah. It is the landmark of Lucknow. The Imambada has a white dome and numerous turrets, minarets and verses in Arabic decorate the walls of the mausoleum. Chhota Imambara is an imposing monument located in the Old City area of Lucknow.</p>
<p><strong>Rumi Darwaza: </strong>Rumi Darwaza is one of the most impressive gateways in India. This gateway is close to Bada Imambara. It is also commissioned by Nawab Asaf-ud-Daula, like the Bada Imambara, under the &#8216;Food for Work&#8217; program to give relief to the inhabitants suffering from severe famine.</p>
<p><strong>Day 8. Lucknow/ <a href="../tourist-cities/varanasi.html">Varanasi</a>:</strong> Today morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel then visit <strong>The Residency</strong>; a group of buildings built in 1800 A.D by Nawab Saadat Ali Khan. It was constructed in order to serve as the residence for the British Resident General. During the Mutiny of 1857, the rebels besieged the Residency. It has become a historic monument at present. It served as an arsenal during the Mutiny. Having seen <strong>The Residency</strong> transfer to the railway station to board evening train to Varanasi. You will be assisted on arrival at Varanasi railway station then transfer to the hotel to spend overnight.</p>
<p><strong>Day 9. In <a href="../tourist-cities/varanasi.html">Varanasi</a>:</strong> Today you will have an early morning boat ride on the Ganges to see some of the Hindu religious activities and <strong>rituals on ghats</strong> such as bathing, washing and funeral pyres. Later in the day visit the <strong>Kashi Vishwanath Temple, New Vishwanath temple, Sankat Mochan temple, Golden Temple, Bharat Mata Temple</strong> and <strong>Durga Temple</strong>. In <a href="../tourist-cities/varanasi.html">Varanasi</a>: </strong>Excursion to<strong> Sarnath:</strong> Today you will have driven to Sarnath visiting <strong>Sarnath Museum, Ashoka Lion Capital, Buddhist Temples, Chaukhandi Stupa, Dhamekh Stupa </strong>and <strong>Dharmrajika Stupa</strong> etc. You will be driven back to Varanasi by the evening to spend overnight at Varanasi.</p>
<p><strong>About Sarnath:</strong> Sarnath is the place where Buddha delivered his first sermon and celebrated mantra, &#8216;Buddham Sharnam Gachhami&#8217;, originated from here. Lord Buddha earmarked four sacred places for his followers as Lumbini, Bodh Gaya, Kushinagar and Sarnath. There are many Buddhist monuments and edifices in Sarnath. Some of the important Buddhist monuments at Sarnath are the Dhamekha stupa, the Chaukhandi stupa and monasteries and temples of different schools of Buddhism. There is also a vast expanse of ancient ruins at Sarnath. The Ashoka pillar of Sarnath is the National emblem of India.</p>

Having reached check in at hotel, after freshen up you will be taken on a guided tour of Agra visiting the <strong>Taj Mahal</strong> that was built by the mughal emperor Shahjahan for his beloved wife Mumtaj Mahal, <strong>Agra Fort</strong> or <strong>Red Fort</strong> and <strong>I’timad-Ud-Daulah, </strong>the Empress Nur Jahan built this tomb for her father, it is also called the Baby Taj. Having done that you will be taken to <strong>Agra Bazaar</strong> in the evening then back to the hotel for overnight stay.</p>
<p><strong>Day 9: <a href="http://www.travinfoindia.com/tourist-cities/agra.html">Agra </a>/ Bharatpur: </strong>In the morning after breakfast departure transfer to Bharatpur visiting<strong> Fatehpur Sikri</strong> on the way, it is an old kingdom deserted by the Mughal king for the lack of water. <p><strong>Day 11: <a href="http://www.travinfoindia.com/tourist-cities/jaipur-the-pink-city-2.html">Jaipur</a>/ <a href="http://www.travinfoindia.com/tourist-cities/varanasi.html">Varanasi</a>: </strong>Today morning after breakfast you will be enjoying the guided trip to the city visiting <strong>Amer Fort (Amber Fort)</strong> The fort is remarkable blend of Hindu and Muslim architecture a fine piece of Rajput architecture, built in the seventeen centuary is famous for great views from the top. Later in the day visit <strong>Hawa Mahal;</strong> built in 1799 is one of the most recognizable monuments of Jaipur, <strong>City Palace</strong> situated in the heart of the old City houses important museum and allows a fine view of the gardens and the city. In the evening visit a magnificent <strong>observatory </strong>built in 18th century. Having seen all these you will be transferred to the railway station to board overnight train to Varanasi.</p>

<p><strong>Day 6. In Gangtok / Phodang / Gangtok (38 kms one way):</strong> In the morning after breakfast same day excursion to Phodang. There is overnight stay at hotel.</p>
<p><strong>Phodang Monastery:</strong> It is a <strong>Buddhist monastery</strong> of the Kagyu sect of <strong>Tibetan Buddhism</strong> in southern Sikkim and located 28 kilometers from Gangtok. It was built in the early 18th century. The monastery is a residence of several monks and has a rich collection of some <strong>ancient murals</strong>.</p>
<p><strong>Day 7. In Gangtok: </strong>In the<strong> </strong>morning after breakfast full day sight seeing of the city visiting <strong>Rumtek Monastery, Tsongo Lake and Nathula Pass</strong>. There is overnight stay at hotel.</p>
<p><strong>Day 8. Gangtok / Rumtek (24 kms):</strong> In the morning having checked out from the hotel departure transfer Rumtek. Having checked in at hotel, there is relaxation for some time then visit <strong>Rumtek Monastery; t</strong>he largest monastery in the Eastern Himalaya. It is the seat of Kagyu order of Tibetan Buddhism. There is overnight stay at hotel.</p>
<p><strong>Day 9. Rumtek / Kalimpong:</strong> In the afternoon having checked out from the hotel departure transfer to Kalimpong. <strong>Kalimpong</strong> is a small <strong>hill station</strong> leads through the most scenic routes between Siliguri and Gangtok. The town is 1250 m above sea level and offers excellent views of the <strong>Mt Kanchenjunga</strong> and other <strong>Himalayan peaks</strong>. Having checked in at hotel sight seeing for the rest of the day visiting <strong>Gompas, Flower Nurseries, Shri Mangal Dham, Sericulture Research Institute, Dr. Graham’s Home, Kalimpong nine-hole golf course</strong> and<strong> Nature Interpretation Centre </strong>etc. There is overnight stay at hotel.</p>
<p><strong>Day 10. Kalimpong / Bagdogra / <a href="http://www.travinfoindia.com/tourist-cities/visit-new-delhi-old-delhi.html">Delhi</a>:</strong> In the afternoon departure transfer to Bagdogra airport, 80 kms away to catch flight to Delhi.
