<p><strong>About Kalimpong</strong>: It is a small hill station between Siliguri and Gangtok. The swift flowing Teesta river runs by the side of the road adding to the beauty of the scenery. The name, Kalimpong, has three different origins. Kalimpong has several monasteries and also a Kali temple. The Tibetan Monastery and curio center and Dr Graham&#8217;s home are important tour stops.</p>
<p><strong>About Lava: </strong>It is<strong> </strong>not a sightseeing destination rather a natural destination situated at an altitude of 7200 feet, and around 32 km east of Kalimpong. It is famous for its proximity to the Neora Valley National Park and beautiful view of the Jelep La and Rechi La passes. There are two sunset points named Ghanti Dara and Tiffin Dara (Dara means top of the hill) apart from Lava Monastery. There is Chhangey Falls situated at a distance of 12 kilometers worth a visit.</p>
<p><strong>About Lolegaon-</strong> The small town is located at a distance of 12 km from Lava at an altitude of 5,500 ft. A spectacular view of the Himalayan snow will take you to a different world. Loleygaon offers panoramic view of the Kanchenjunga. This is quiet, cool and serene destination yet to be commercialized. There is nearby hilltop Jhandi Dara offers a beautiful view at sunrise.</p>

<p><strong>Day 2.</strong> <strong>In <a href="http://www.travinfoindia.com/tourist-cities/new-delhi-the-capital-city.html">Delhi</a>:</strong> In the morning after breakfast visit of the historic city of old Delhi sights as Red fort and the Jama Masjid. Having lunch visit to New Delhi sights such as Qutab Minar, India Gate, Humayun&#8217;s tomb and the Lakshmi Narayan temple etc. There is overnight stay at hotel.</p>
<p><strong>Day 3.</strong> <strong><a href="http://www.travinfoindia.com/tourist-cities/new-delhi-the-capital-city.html">Delhi</a> / Mirik via Bagdogra</strong>: In the morning transfer to the airport to board flight to Bagdogra. There is assistance on arrival then departure transfer to Mirik (1767M/ 50Kms) through the winding roads across tea gardens on the slopes. Having reached at hotel relaxation for some time then visit to Lake Sumendu to enjoy the evening. There is overnight stay at hotel.</p>
<p><strong>Day 4. Mirik/ Darjeeling:</strong> In the morning after breakfast strolling, boating, horse riding etc around Lake samendu. In the afternoon departure transfer to Darjeeling (50Kms./ 6500ft) visiting Sukiapokhri Salamander project on the way along with the glimpse of Himalayan reptiles. Having reached at hotel relaxation for the day. Evening at leisure. There is overnight stay at hotel.</p>
<p><strong>Day 5. In Darjeeling:</strong> There is an early morning trip to Tiger Hill (2590M) for a breathtaking view of Sunrise over the Kanchenjunga then visit to Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop on way bak to hotel. Having breakfast full day sightseeing visiting zoo, HMI and ropeway ride over the Takvar Valley Tea Garden. Having lunch at hotel visit to Rock Garden and Gangamaya Park. There is overnight stay at hotel.</p>
<p><strong>Day 6. Darjeeling / Kalimpong (1250m, 55Kms.):</strong> In the morning departure transfer to Kalimpong along the Rangit River passing through picturesque sights on the way. Having arrived check in at hotel and relaxation for some time before visiting Durpin Dara viewpoint. There is overnight stay at hotel.</p>
<p><strong>Day 7. Kalimpong/ Lava: </strong>In the morning after breakfast sight visiting orchid nurseries, Delo top viewpoint, Bong Monastery etc then transfer to Lava (2200M, 30Kms) after lunch. There is halt at Lava.</p>
<p><strong>Day 8. Lava / Lolegaon: </strong>In the morning<strong> v</strong>isit to Rishap and Tiffin Dara for a spectacular view of the Himalayas. Transfer Loleygaon (1620M, 24Kms) after lunch, it is another hidden picturesque hamlet in Kalimpong hills. Having arrived check in at hotel and relaxation for some time then visit to adjacent Heritage Forest for a unique canopy walk in the afternoon. Evening at leisure. There is overnight halt at Loleygaon.</p>

In Lolegaon:</strong> In the morning visit to Jhandidara (3Kms) for an amazing Sunrise over the Kanchenjunga, even Mount Everest is visible from the watch tower of Jhandidara if weather is clear. In the afternoon after lunch visit to the local Lepcha market. Evening at leisure. There is overnight halt at Lolegaon.</p>

<p><strong>day 03: <a title="Leh" href="http://www.travinfoindia.com/tourist-cities/leh.html">leh</a> &#8211; excursion to <a title="Pangong Lake " href="http://www.travinfoindia.com/specials/pangong-lake.html">pangong lake</a> (185 kms / 5 hrs) : </strong>after an early breakfast we leave for pangong lake through changla pass 5486 mtrs. pangong lake, situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 m) is a long narrow basin of inland drainage, hardly six to seven kilometer at its widest point and over 130km in length, it is bisected by the international border between india and china. after spending some time at pangong we drive back to hotel in leh.</p>
<p><strong>day 04: <a title="Leh" href="http://www.travinfoindia.com/tourist-cities/leh.html">leh </a>- excursion to<a title="Kahrdung La " href="http://www.travinfoindia.com/specials/khardung-la.html"> khardung La</a> top &#8211; 18,380 ft. (39 kms / 2 hrs) : </strong>post breakfast we drive to khardung la &#8211; the highest motorable road in the world at 18,380 ft. the top is 39 kms from leh. enjoy the views from the top and then return to the hotel for hot lunch. later in the afternoon at leisure for last day visit to the market. overnight at hotel in leh.</p>

<p><strong>day 02: <a title="Leh" href="http://www.travinfoindia.com/tourist-cities/leh.html">leh</a> &#8211; excursion to monasteries : </strong>post breakfast we proceed for the indus valley monastery tour including shey, the ancient capital of ladakh, thiksey an impressive complex rising tier upon tier on a hill above the village and stok palace – the present residence of the royal family. enjoy packed lunch at sindhu ghat. overnight at hotel in leh.</p>
<p><strong>3 day soft trek</strong></p>
<p><strong>day 03: <a title="Leh" href="http://www.travinfoindia.com/tourist-cities/leh.html">leh</a> to likir (drive) trek to yangthang (5 hrs approx): </strong>after breakfast drive from leh to likir for 2 hours. at likir you will meet all your trekking staff and ponies. one can visit likir monastery situated on a hill towards the village. start your trek through a barley field to cross a small stream and then to village sumdo. then gradually trek to village yangthang to camp overnight.</p>
<p><strong>day 04: yangthang to hemis shupachan 5-6 hrs trek : </strong>trek to wulle valley and then ascend for one hour to shemchan la and then descend towards hemis shukpachan, the highest village in this route. it’s a big village and is famous for cedar trees found in plenty here, hence the name of village. we will visit a family house and have some butter tea and ladakhi chang (the local beer) there is a small but beautiful monastery just outside the village that we can visit. camp for overnight stay.</p>
<p><strong>day 05: hemis shupachan to ang (5-6 hrs) (trek ends) drive to Uleytokpo (15 kms / .5 hrs): </strong>we trek through the apricot rich village of ang. this is one of the richest valleys in ladakh as there are plenty of apricots, apples and dry fruits. stay overnight at the camp site at uleytokpo.</p>
<p><strong>day 06: uleytokpo to <a title="Leh" href="http://www.travinfoindia.com/tourist-cities/leh.html">leh</a> (70 kms / 3 hrs) : </strong>in the morning we visit the lamayuru monastery to be part of the morning religious ceremony. it’s a very soothing and spiritual experience to be a part of this ritual. overnight at hotel in leh.</p>
<p><strong>day 07: <a title="Leh" href="http://www.travinfoindia.com/tourist-cities/leh.html">leh </a>to <a title="Nubra Valley" href="http://www.travinfoindia.com/specials/nubra-valley.html">nubra valley</a> (120 kms / 5 hrs) : </strong>after an early breakfast we drive to nubra valley crossing <a title="Khardung La " href="http://www.travinfoindia.com/specials/khardung-la.html">khardung-la</a>, the highest motorable road in the world at 18,380 ft. nubra valley is popularly known as ldorma or the valley of flowers. it is situated to the north of ladakh between the karakoram and ladakh ranges of the himalayas. enjoy your evening at the campsite. overnight at camps.</p>
<p><strong>day 08: in <a title="Nubra Valley " href="http://www.travinfoindia.com/specials/nubra-valley.html">nubra valley</a> (130 kms / 7 hrs) : </strong>after your breakfast at the camp, visit the sand dunes to enjoy a camel safari (optional) and deskit monastery. Rest of the day at leisure at the campsite.</p>

<p><strong>Day 5. Darcha / Pa Lahmo:</strong> (3,450 Meters.) 4 Hrs: In the morning after breakfast trek to Pa-Lahmo. Darcha is the last village of Himachal Pradesh on the way to Leh. It is the starting point of Darcha to Padam trek. There is overnight stay at camp.</p>

<p><strong>Day 5. Chokdo / Latza Kongmaru (4800m):</strong> In the morning after breakfast journey to the Latza Kongmaru. This is the adventure ascending through the local valleys.</p>
<p><strong>Day 6. Latza Kongmaru / Kongmaru La (5030m) /Nimaling (4650m) in 5 hrs:</strong> In the morning the journey l continues to Nimaling. There are breathtaking sights including northeastern views of Korakoram, China and Kang Yatze (6400m) in the south through zigzag passages taking ridge trail descending to Nimaling.</p>
<p><strong>Day 7. Nimaling / Hankar (4000m) in 5 hrs:</strong> In the morning there is another exciting day traveling through meadows Thachutse then to Hankar. This is the journey across the Nimaling River and beautiful valleys following the trail of the Markha River.</p>
<p><strong>Day 8. Hankar/ Markha (3850m) in 4 hrs:</strong> The trail continues along to Markha where several scattered monasteries and ruins can be sighted along the way. After Umlung the valley narrows and becomes a gorge just before Markha. This large village has a fort and a monastery perched on the northern hill. The gompa is reputed to be one of the oldest in Ladakh.</p>
<p><strong>Day 9. Markha / Chalok (3450m) in 4 hrs:</strong> The trail passes through lush riverside vegetation to Chalok. Along the way visit some of the local monasteries.</p>
<p><strong>Day 10. Chalok / Shingo (4150m) in 6 hrs:</strong> In the morning adventure continues leaving the valley for a trail across the bridges of Markha River. This exciting trail continues to Shingo.</p>
<p><strong>Day 11.Shingo / Ganda La (4920m) / Rumbak (3750m) in 7 hrs:</strong> This exciting trail continues with a challenging trail to Rumbak, enjoying colorful environs including the Zanskari mountain range. Then continue a steady descend along the Jingchan River. There are great views towards the Stock summit and the Stock Kangri (6121m).</p>
<p><strong>Day 12.Rumbak / Namlung La (4570m) / Stok (3700m) in 6 hrs:</strong> The adventure continues descending on to Stok, which is famous for its palace and museum. Enjoy a side stop via Namlung La before continuing on the trail.</p>

<p><strong>Day 13. Stok / Hemis:</strong> The trail continues on to Hemis, visiting the Hemis and Thiksey Gompa before driving back to Leh. Having arrived check in at hotel and overnight stay at hotel.</p>
