In the early 17th century efforts were made to restore destroyed artifacts and gompas, and the kingdom expanded into Zanskar and Spiti.

Changthang: The remote high plateau of Changthang (Northland) stretches from western Tibet into eastern Ladakh. Frozen River (Chadar) Trek: The most isolated and made inaccessible for nearly eight months a year due to heavy snowfall resulting in closure of all the access passes, Zanskar has the distinction of being the least interfered with microcosms of Ladakh, and thus one of the last few surving cultural satellites of Tibet. This Chadar trek allsow you to penetrate this isolation and to examine some of the villages along the Zanskar River in the midst of winter and thus catch a glimpse of the lifecycle during this unique time of the year. A visit to the ancient monastic establishment of Karsha and Zangla promises to heighten your insight into the mysteries of this Shangri-la, a land and culture frozen in time behind the ramparts of the Zanskar mountains. Chilling and Linghshed are the only sizeable villages on this trek until hanamur and Pidmo before pishu and Zangla in Zanskar, all the rest are names of places and caves along the route.

Day 1. Arrival Delhi: You will be met with our representative on arrival at Delhi International airport and then transferred to the hotel to spend overnight.

Day 7. Agra / Lucknow: Today early morning you will be transferred to the railway station to board train to Lucknow. Having reached Lucknow in the afternoon, check in at the hotel and relaxation for some time then sight seeing of the city visiting old Lucknow sights as Bada Imambara, Hussainabad Imambara, Rumi Darwaza and Aminabad market. Lucknow Sight Seeing Places

Bada Imambara: The Bada Imambada or Asafi Imambada was built in 1784 by Nawab Asaf-ul-Daula as welfare project during severe famine. It has historical, cultural and heritage importance. The complex also includes the large Asfi mosque, the Bhul-Bhulaiyah (the labyrinth); a staircase leads to a series of artfully designed labyrinths where it is easy to get lost. Therefore visitors are only allowed inside with guide who is familiar with the maze.

Hussainabad Imambara: Also known as Chhota Imambada, was built in eighteen centuary by Mohammed Ali Shah. It is the landmark of Lucknow. The Imambada has a white dome and numerous turrets, minarets and verses in Arabic decorate the walls of the mausoleum. Chhota Imambara is an imposing monument located in the Old City area of Lucknow.

Rumi Darwaza: Rumi Darwaza is one of the most impressive gateways in India. This gateway is close to Bada Imambara. It is also commissioned by Nawab Asaf-ud-Daula, like the Bada Imambara, under the ‘Food for Work’ program to give relief to the inhabitants suffering from severe famine.

Day 8. Lucknow/ Varanasi: Today morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel then visit The Residency; a group of buildings built in 1800 A.D by Nawab Saadat Ali Khan. It was constructed in order to serve as the residence for the British Resident General. During the Mutiny of 1857, the rebels besieged the Residency. It has become a historic monument at present. It served as an arsenal during the Mutiny. Having seen The Residency transfer to the railway station to board evening train to Varanasi. You will be assisted on arrival at Varanasi railway station then transfer to the hotel to spend overnight.

Day 9. In Varanasi: Today you will have an early morning boat ride on the Ganges to see some of the Hindu religious activities and rituals on ghats such as bathing, washing and funeral pyres. Lord Buddha earmarked four sacred places for his followers as Lumbini, Bodh Gaya, Kushinagar and Sarnath. There are many Buddhist monuments and edifices in Sarnath. Some of the important Buddhist monuments at Sarnath are the Dhamekha stupa, the Chaukhandi stupa and monasteries and temples of different schools of Buddhism. day 04: leh - excursion to khardung La top – 18,380 ft. Day 3. Kochi / Munnar: In the morning after breakfast departure transfer to Munnar by road. Having checked at hotel relaxation for some time then sight seeing for the rest of the day. There is overnight stay at hotel.

Day 4. In Munnar: In the morning after breakfast full day sight seeing of Munnar visiting important places of tourist interests. There is overnight stay at Munnar.

Day 5. Munnar / Thekkady (Periyar): In the morning departure transfer to Periyar. Having checked at hotel relaxation for few hours. In the evening, boat riding at Periyar Lake. There are also a few tribal villages to explore. There is overnight stay at hotel.

Day 6. Thekkady / Kumarakom: In the morning departure transfer to Kumarakom. Having checked at hotel relaxation for some times then explore the backwaters of Kumarakom.There is overnight stay at hotel.

Day 7. In Kumarakom: In the morning after breakfast, full day sight seeing of Kumarakom Visiting the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary etc. There is overnight stay at hotel.

Day 8. Kumarakom / Alleppey: In the morning departure transfer to Kottayam. Having arrived at Kottayam board the houseboat to Alleppey. There is an overnight backwater cruising then arrival at Alleppey in the morning.

Day 9. Alleppey /Kovalam: In the morning departure transfer to Kovalam Having checked at hotel relaxation for some times then explore the world famous beach. There are arrangements of adventure activities as kayaking, swimming, surfing and skiing. There is overnight stay at hotel.

Day 10. In Kovalam: In the morning after breakfast spend some time at Kovalam beach then same day excursion to Cape Comorin. There is overnight stay at hotel.

Day 11. Kovalam / Delhi via Trivendrum: In the morning after breakfast check out from the hotel then full day sightseeing of Trivendrum then transfer to the airport to board evening flight to Delhi. There will be assistance on arrival at Delhi airport then transfer to the hotel. There is overnight stay at hotel.

Day 12. In Delhi: In the morning after breakfast full day sight seeing of Delhi visiting important places of tourist interests. There is overnight stay at hotel.

Day 13. Delhi / Back Home: In the morning after breakfast sight seeing of rest of places of Delhi then transfer to the international airport to board flight back home.
