<p><strong>day 02: <a title="Leh" href="http://www.travinfoindia.com/tourist-cities/leh.html">leh</a> to Uleytokpo (70 kms / 3 hrs) : </strong>post breakfast we drive to visit phyang gompa, located 6 kms away from leh. further we drive to likir gompa situated atop a windy cliff overlooking the beautiful village of likir. enroute we stop at basgo to visit an impressive ladakhi citadel. then we drive ahead to reach Alchi &#8211; ladakh&#8217;s most loved monastery. after visiting above monasteries we drive to uleytokpo our destination for overnight stay.</p>
<p><strong>day 03: uleytokpo to <a title="Leh" href="http://www.travinfoindia.com/tourist-cities/leh.html">leh </a>(125 kms / 5 hrs): </strong>post breakfast we drive further to visit lamayuru monastery and then drive back to leh. enroute visit the redzong gompa. after redzong we drive back to leh. overnight at hotel in leh.</p>
<p><strong>day 04: <a title="Leh" href="http://www.travinfoindia.com/tourist-cities/leh.html">leh</a> to <a title="Pangong Lake " href="http://www.travinfoindia.com/specials/pangong-lake.html">pangong lake</a> (145 kms / 5 hrs) : </strong>after an early breakfast we leave for pangong lake through the changla pass at 5486 mtrs. pangong lake, situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 m) is a long narrow basin of inland drainage, hardly six to seven kilometer at its widest point and over 130km in length. it is bisected by the international border between india and china. enjoy the landscape in the back drop of the lake. one rarely feels so close to nature and environment and the scenery is unforgettable. evening at leisure and overnight stay at the camp near lake.</p>
<p><strong>day 05: <a title="Pangong Lake " href="http://www.travinfoindia.com/specials/pangong-lake.html">pangong lake</a> to <a title="Leh" href="http://www.travinfoindia.com/tourist-cities/leh.html">leh </a>(145 kms / 5 hrs) : </strong>morning at leisure to explore the beauty of lake and later we drive back to leh enroute visiting thiksey an impressive complex rising tier upon tier on a hill above the village &amp; shey, the ancient capital of ladakh. drive further to reach leh. overnight at hotel in leh.</p>
<p><strong>day 06: <a title="Leh" href="http://www.travinfoindia.com/tourist-cities/leh.html">leh</a> to <a title="Nubra Valley " href="http://www.travinfoindia.com/specials/nubra-valley.html">nubra valley</a> (120 kms / 5 hrs) : </strong>after an early breakfast we drive to nubra valley crossing <a title="Khardung La " href="http://www.travinfoindia.com/specials/khardung-la.html">khardung-la</a> &#8211; the highest motorable road in the world at 18,380 ft.nubra valley is popularly known as ldorma or the valley of flowers. it is situated to the north of ladakh between the karakoram and ladakh ranges of the himalayas. visit the deskit monastery and enjoy your evening at the campsite. overnight at camps situated in hundar.</p>
<p><strong>day 07: <a title="Nubra Valley " href="http://www.travinfoindia.com/specials/nubra-valley.html">nubra valley</a> to <a title="Leh" href="http://www.travinfoindia.com/tourist-cities/leh.html">leh</a> (190 kms / 7 hrs) : </strong>after your breakfast at the camp, visit the sand dunes to enjoy a camel safari (optional). later we drive to leh over khardung la. afternoon rest and relax or take a walk to the local market. overnight at hotel in leh.</p>
<p><strong>day 08: leh &#8211; chumathang to Tsomoriri (240 kms / 8 hrs) : </strong>post breakfast we drive to tsomoriri enroute stop at chumathang for lunch. This place is famous for medical hot springs. after a short halt drive to tsomoriri, a beautiful mountain bounded expanse of water, situated around 240 kms. from leh in rupsho valley. the lake is located at 14,000 ft. near a small village of korzok. upon arrival we check in at our camp for an overnight stay.</p>
<p><strong>day 09: tsomoriri to <a title="Leh" href="http://www.travinfoindia.com/tourist-cities/leh.html">leh</a> (240 kms / 8 hrs): </strong>post breakfast we check out from the camp and drive back to leh. reach leh and relax at the hotel.</p>

Later in the day visit Hawa Mahal; built in 1799 is one of the most recognizable monuments of Jaipur. It was build for the royal ladies to watch and enjoy the processions and other activities through five-storied semi-octagonal monument with 152 windows. At present it is a museum. City Palace situated in the heart of the old City houses important museum and allows a fine view of the gardens and the city. In the evening visit a magnificent observatory built in 18th century. <p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Mehrangarh Fort:</span></strong> The Rathore Rajputs founded it in 15th century. At present a museum is managed and maintained by the royal trust. There are only few grand palaces of Mehrangarh are open for tourists. Among the magnificent palaces are Moti Mahal, Jhanki Mahal, Chandan Mahal, Rang Mahal, Sheesh Mahal, Phool Mahal, Umaid Vilas and Maan Vilas etc.</p>
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Jaswant Thada:</span></strong> The Jaswant Thada is the traditional cremation ground of the rulers of Jodhpur. There are the ornamental gardens and cenotaphs built by the excellent white marble in 1899 in the memory of Jaswant Singh II. There are royal portraits and possessions also.</p>
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Umaid Bhawan Palace</span></strong><strong>: </strong>The construction of this palace begun in 1929, it was designed by the president of the British Royal Institute of Architects for Maharaja Umaid Singh. This grand palace was completed in 15 years. At present Maharaja Gaj Singh II, still lives in part of the building. The rest has been converted into a heritage hotel.</p>

<p><strong>3 day easy trekking</strong></p>
<p><strong>trekking grade: </strong>EASY &#8211; suitable for most people in good health, these trips include only a short element of trekking which is predominately on good paths and at low altitude.</p>
<p><strong>trip leaders / guides: </strong>our trip leaders have a vast experience of trekking &amp; camping in the himalayas. they are fluent in english language and are always forthcoming with interesting lore and information on local history, culture and practices.</p>
<p><strong>camping : </strong>we use existing camping sites on most of the treks with a combination of homestays.</p>
<p><strong>meals on our treks : </strong>on all our treks we provide food that&#8217;s tasty, hygienic and nutritious. our chefs offer multi-cuisine meals. cuisine is decided keeping in mind the profile of the group. also on most of our treks our clients get the option of trying out the local dishes.</p>
<p><strong>day 01: arrive <a title="Leh" href="http://www.travinfoindia.com/tourist-cities/leh.html">leh</a> : </strong>welcome arrival at leh airport and transfer to hotel. complete day for rest and leisure to acclimatize. evening visit leh market &amp; shanti stupa. overnight at hotel in leh.</p>
<p><strong>day 02: <a title="Leh" href="http://www.travinfoindia.com/tourist-cities/leh.html">leh</a> &#8211; excursion to monasteries : </strong>post breakfast we proceed for the indus valley monastery tour including shey, the ancient capital of ladakh, thiksey an impressive complex rising tier upon tier on a hill above the village and stok palace – the present residence of the royal family. enjoy packed lunch at sindhu ghat. overnight at hotel in leh.</p>
<p><strong>3 day soft trek</strong></p>
<p><strong>day 03: <a title="Leh" href="http://www.travinfoindia.com/tourist-cities/leh.html">leh</a> to likir (drive) trek to yangthang (5 hrs approx): </strong>after breakfast drive from leh to likir for 2 hours. at likir you will meet all your trekking staff and ponies. one can visit likir monastery situated on a hill towards the village. start your trek through a barley field to cross a small stream and then to village sumdo. then gradually trek to village yangthang to camp overnight.</p>
<p><strong>day 04: yangthang to hemis shupachan 5-6 hrs trek : </strong>trek to wulle valley and then ascend for one hour to shemchan la and then descend towards hemis shukpachan, the highest village in this route. it’s a big village and is famous for cedar trees found in plenty here, hence the name of village. we will visit a family house and have some butter tea and ladakhi chang (the local beer) there is a small but beautiful monastery just outside the village that we can visit. camp for overnight stay.</p>
<p><strong>day 05: hemis shupachan to ang (5-6 hrs) (trek ends) drive to Uleytokpo (15 kms / .5 hrs): </strong>we trek through the apricot rich village of ang. this is one of the richest valleys in ladakh as there are plenty of apricots, apples and dry fruits. stay overnight at the camp site at uleytokpo.</p>
<p><strong>day 06: uleytokpo to <a title="Leh" href="http://www.travinfoindia.com/tourist-cities/leh.html">leh</a> (70 kms / 3 hrs) : </strong>in the morning we visit the lamayuru monastery to be part of the morning religious ceremony. it’s a very soothing and spiritual experience to be a part of this ritual. overnight at hotel in leh.</p>
<p><strong>day 07: <a title="Leh" href="http://www.travinfoindia.com/tourist-cities/leh.html">leh </a>to <a title="Nubra Valley" href="http://www.travinfoindia.com/specials/nubra-valley.html">nubra valley</a> (120 kms / 5 hrs) : </strong>after an early breakfast we drive to nubra valley crossing <a title="Khardung La " href="http://www.travinfoindia.com/specials/khardung-la.html">khardung-la</a>, the highest motorable road in the world at 18,380 ft. nubra valley is popularly known as ldorma or the valley of flowers. it is situated to the north of ladakh between the karakoram and ladakh ranges of the himalayas. enjoy your evening at the campsite. overnight at camps.</p>
<p><strong>day 08: in <a title="Nubra Valley " href="http://www.travinfoindia.com/specials/nubra-valley.html">nubra valley</a> (130 kms / 7 hrs) : </strong>after your breakfast at the camp, visit the sand dunes to enjoy a camel safari (optional) and deskit monastery. Rest of the day at leisure at the campsite.</p>
<p><strong>day 09: <a title="Nubra Valley " href="http://www.travinfoindia.com/specials/nubra-valley.html">nubra valley</a> –<a title="Leh" href="http://www.travinfoindia.com/tourist-cities/leh.html"> leh</a> (120 kms / 5 hrs) : </strong>post breakfast we drive to leh crossing the khardung la pass. reach leh and relax at the hotel for the day. overnight at hotel in leh.</p>
<p><strong>day 10: in <a title="Leh" href="http://www.travinfoindia.com/tourist-cities/leh.html">leh</a> : </strong>day free for rest and leisure. overnight at hotel in leh.</p>
